Science Network

NHR is more than hardware infrastructure: It represents collaboration, scientific exchange, and mutual support between NHR center teams and users

From users and with users

User Projects

NHR is the high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure for research at German universities. Our NHR resources enable many researchers to carry out their outstanding research projects.

NHR | Women in HPC

We are committed to diversity, equality, inclusion, and mutual support at NHR and across Germany’s HPC community. Our Women in HPC chapter offers opportunities to join our network.

Joint Research and Support Activities

AI & ML

Our Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning initiative is a joint effort by NHR and GCS in collaboration with HPC.NRW. Join weekly online Q&A sessions, supplemented by monthly lectures on selected topics and our introductory seminar “AI | From Laptop to Supercomputer” several times a year.

Computational Life Science

Receive expert support for simulation- and data-intensive life science research projects. Benefit from consulting on HPC-enabled modeling, large-scale biological and medical data analysis, workflow optimization, secure computing environments, and AI-driven applications.

Atomistic Simulation Center

The NHR Atomistic Simulation Center is an association of three centers dedicated to atomistic simulation and condensed-matter physics. The goal is to provide unique offerings and support to the atomistic simulation community.

Computational Physics Center

The NHR Computational Physics Center (NHR CPC) is an association of three centers dedicated to atomistic simulation and condensed-matter physics. The goal is to provide unique offerings and support to the computational physics community.
