Operational support
Coordinated HPC Support and Expertise Across the NHR Network
We support you to bring your research
From Laptop to Supercomputer
Using high-performance computing systems differs significantly from working with smaller computers or clusters. The NHR centers provide both usage support, including access to these systems, and performance consulting, such as optimizing and improving the performance of application source code.
Get Started
Do you need some initial information about which center best fits your needs or would like to learn more about the access process, please see the HPC Access page. For further information about a center, please refer to the Center Overview or reach out to the local support contact provided below.
User Support & Cluster Introduction
The NHR Center’s local support team is best qualified to answer any questions regarding the computer you are using or like to use. This includes cluster introductions, existing software and its installation, cluster architecture, performance monitoring tools, queues, and so on. Here is an overview of the centers’ services and how to reach your local support team:

Participants also have the opportunity to connect with HPC staff and discuss open questions at the beginning of the HPC Café.

Tuesday 4:00 p.m.: general consultation/ Q&A
Wednesday 4:00 p.m.: general introduction
