Sofa Talks

Our Sofa Talks brought together some of the brightest minds in the field, sparking raw, honest, and forward-thinking discussions about the future of High-Performance Computing.

The Signing of MOU

We are pleased to announce that the NHR Association has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Le Mésocentre des Mésocentres (MesoNET) France.

The MoU was signed at the NHR booth at the ISC High Performance 2026 in Hamburg by Prof. Michaël Krajecki, Director of Grand Équipment National de Calcul Intensif (GENCI) and Prof. Christian Plessl, Chairman of the Executive Board of the NHR Association.

This agreement marks the beginning of a closer collaboration in key areas including research, training, support for early-career researchers, and technical cooperation.

We are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to working together.

International Workshop

The rapid evolution of AI and its implications for HPC institutions formed the central theme of this year's IHPCN workshop. During a poster session, ideas, areas of expertise, and key focus areas were presented, which were then discussed in depth in small groups. Together, we developed concrete ideas for collaboration and outlined the first steps toward implementing them.
